Why did we choose to become B Corp™ certified?
At Vitaflo, our mission is succinctly captured in the phrase, "Enhancing Lives Together."
We are rooted in principles of fostering a positive impact, nurturing clinical confidence, harnessing the strength of community, and upholding transparency. Our commitment is to prioritize the wellbeing of our patients and to operate as a business that consistently champions positive change. The ethos of B Corp resonates with our mission and objectives. Achieving this certification reaffirms our dedication and is a testament to our genuine commitment to our core beliefs.
Why is B Corporation Certification important?
B Corp Certification evaluates a company's holistic social and environmental impact through the B Impact Assessment, a comprehensive tool that meticulously assesses five pivotal areas: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers. Certified B Corporations, are enterprises that have been rigorously verified by B Lab™. These companies consistently meet the highest standards in terms of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability.
What actions have already been taken to increase your positive impact?
Every year, we engage in a community initiative titled "Vitaflo Cares." Through this event, every team member dedicates a full day to providing volunteer service within their respective local communities. Past activities have included cleaning and responsibly disposing of trash from local parks, offering assistance at neighborhood food banks, and donating blood. Additionally, as a gesture of environmental responsibility, Vitaflo annually sponsors tree donations on behalf of our employees via the esteemed organization. One Tree Planted.
How will you communicate about B Corp updates and our sustainability journey?
As we navigate our sustainability and B Corp journey, we pledge to consistently communicate both our accomplishments and challenges through email, social media, and our affiliated associations. Our commitment lies in maintaining transparency and continually reaffirming your trust in Vitaflo.
