Description

KeyOmega is a powdered blend of Arachidonic Acid (AA) and Docosahexaenoic Acid (DHA) on a carbohydrate base.

Indications

For use from one year of age and older.

Dosage and Administration

Dosage to be determined by the clinician or dietitian and is dependant on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient.

Each 4g sachet of KeyOmega provides 200mg of AA and 100mg of DHA.

Guidelines for Preparation and Use

Use as directed by the clinician or dietitian.

KeyOmega may be used in a variety of ways:

• Mixed with a protein substitute
• Added into a modular feed bolus
• Dissolved in water
• Added into other food or drink

Once prepared use immediately.

Important Notice

• Must only be given to patients with proven inborn errors of metabolism.
• Must only be used under strict medical supervision.
• Not for use as a sole source of nutrition.
• Not for intravenous use.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Once the sachet is opened, use immediately.
