PRO-CAL
Description
Pro-Cal is a blend of protein, carbohydrate and fat, which can be added to a wide variety of food and drink to enhance the energy and protein content with minimum effect on taste, volume and texture.
Indications
Pro-Cal is a food enhancer indicated in the dietary management of disease related malnutrition, malabsorption and other conditions requiring fortification with protein, carbohydrate and fat.

Dosage and Administration
- Dosage is to be determined by the clinician or dietitian and is dependant on the age, body weight and medical condition of the patient.
Preparation Guidelines
- Sprinkle Pro-Cal onto the desired food or drink, stir until the powder is dissolved.
- Add 1 scoop/sachet per serving (or as directed by dietitian/clinician)
- 1 scoop or sachet weighs 15 g and provides 100 kcal and 2 g protein
Important Notice
- Must be used under strict medical supervision
- Not for use as a sole source of nutrition
- Not suitable for people with lactose or protein intolerance
- Not for intravenous use
- Not recommended for infants under one year of age
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place
- Once tub is opened, use within one month
